I'm not afraid to pit Goff up against the newly acquired
Micah Parsons. Goff has averaged 15.25 points per game against the
Packers - Good, not great. Green Bay's offense is very banged up right now
with injuries to QB Jordan Love and WR Jayden Reed, and I
expect the Lions' offense to win the field position battle
handedly. I'm not expecting greatness, but for a projected
QB18-20 this week, I fully expect Goff to be a sneaky
top-10 QB in Week 1 |

Justin Fields had a 4-2 record last season, and PIT tossed
him to the side for an old Russell Wilson. To top it off,
they let him walk in free agency. Fields is going to want to
want to light up against the very good Steelers defense. Mobile
QBs played well against the Steelers last year but they
found success not on the ground, but rather through the air.
Is Justin Fields a good enough passer to succeed against a top defense?
I don't think so. |

PRAYER |
I've been high on Flacco going back to 2023. I was burnt
on his short stint in Indianapolis but his last 17 games are
still incredibly productive for fantasy. Flacco throws a lot
of picks... but also lots of yards and TDs. Like a 40 year old
Jameis Winston. Clevelands defense is bad, but Cincy's is even
worse. I expect a massive shootout. |

Henderson has a real shot at being RB1 every week. I like
him as a prospect, but the real 'magic' to Henderson is in
the lack of talent on the New England offense. Maye has almost
nowhere to throw the ball, and as bad as Maye is, he does
have a good sense of when to throw the checkdown. Last season
the main benefactor was Austin Hooper. This season it will be

Nick Chubb still has 'it' and we are about to see that.
Last season, running behind the Browns offensive line was
death sentence. The casual fan saw the low yards per carry
and wrote him off. The avid film-watchers saw Chubb is as
healthy as ever. He also gets the added benefit of going against
the Rams weak run defense. |

The main reason I like Goff, aside from the commentary
earlier is Jameson Williams. I've recently changed my
opinion on Jamo because the new OC LOVES him. This offense
has been designed around Jameson Williams, and he will take
advantage of the average CB play he will face. |

down with him. A bad QB against a top-tier defense doesn't

The Miami offensive line is a mess. In the third preseason
game against the Jaguars, Miami's starting line couldn't block
the second/third stringers. It was a hard watch. What does this
mean for Washington? Screens, slants, drags. The quick-hitting
routes we saw Waddle break the rookie reception record all
those years ago are the same ones Washington will be running
this year. |

Njoku and Flacco were dynamite in 2023. Njoku averaged 21.8
PPR points per game and scored 4 TDs in the 4 games they
played in together. Facing the horrible Cincy defense this
should be a big game for Flacco/Njoku |

Daniel Jones has been a target for D/STs for years and
nothing has changed with his move to Indy. The Miami defense
was starting to come on in the second half of last season,
and with their good schedule and talented players returning
from injury, Miami's defense should have a nice run the first
few weeks. |

this offseason. In fact, it got worse. This game will be
incredibly high scoring. Do not play this defense with hopes

Always a good idea to take a gamble on the team facing
Bryce Young. I don't love the Jacksonville defense, but I love
